Benefits of Membership
The Greater Raleigh Sports Council consists of both individual and corporate memberships. Through their investment in the Greater Raleigh Sports Council, Triangle business and community leaders play an active part in marketing the Raleigh/Wake County area as a major market for amateur, collegiate, and professional sporting events and organizations. Through quarterly meetings, newsletters, and exclusive networking opportunities, members receive timely behind-the-scenes information on the region’s efforts to bring world-class sporting events to the Triangle.
Since its inception in 1998, the Greater Raleigh Sports Council has played key roles in luring the CIAA basketball tournament, MEAC basketball tournament, USA Baseball Headquarters, Jimmy V Women’s Basketball Classic, and the WUSA Carolina Courage to the Triangle area. Members have also enjoyed exclusive networking events through the Greater Raleigh Sports Council’s partnership with the Carolina Hurricanes, Carolina Mudcats, Durham Bulls, North Carolina Speedway, NC State Wolfpack, Saint Augustine’s College and UNC Tar Heels.
Corporate Membership - Cost $1,500 for up to six representatives
